Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to Jurnal Inovasi Manajemen Bisnis (JIMB) are required to prepare their manuscripts according to the journal's scope, manuscript format, citation style, publication ethics, and submission requirements. Manuscripts that do not comply with these guidelines may be returned to the authors for correction before entering the peer-review process.

1. The manuscript must be relevant to the focus and scope of JIMB.
2. The manuscript must be an original scholarly work that has not previously been published and is not under consideration by another journal.
3. The manuscript should be written in clear academic Indonesian or English.
4. The main manuscript should use Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing.
5. The manuscript should not exceed 20 pages, including tables, figures, and references.
6. The manuscript should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
7. Authors are required to use the official JIMB article template.

Authors must prepare manuscripts using the official template provided by Jurnal Inovasi Manajemen Bisnis.

Abstract

The abstract should be written in English in a single paragraph and should not exceed 250 words. It should clearly summarize: (1) the urgency or background of the research, (2) the research objective, (3) the methodology, and (4) the principal findings. Use Times New Roman 10 pt, single spacing, and italic style.

Keywords

Provide a minimum of 3 keywords and a maximum of 8 keywords that accurately represent the main concepts of the manuscript.

The introduction should explain the urgency and research phenomenon, the reason for selecting the research object, the variables or concepts examined, the research gap based on previous studies, the novelty of the study, its theoretical and practical benefits, and the research objectives.

The literature review should discuss theories, concepts, variables, and relevant previous studies. Authors are encouraged to organize this section into appropriate subheadings and to synthesize the literature rather than merely listing previous studies.

Describe the research design, population and sample or participants, instruments, data collection procedures, variables or indicators, analytical techniques, hypothesis testing procedures where applicable, and the method used to present the research data.

Present the findings in relation to the research questions and objectives. The discussion should interpret the findings using relevant theories, concepts, and previous research. Authors should explain the significance, contribution, and implications of the findings rather than merely repeating results presented in tables or figures.

The conclusion should directly answer the research objectives and summarize the principal contribution of the study. Statistical data should not be repeated in this section, and the conclusion should be written in paragraph form without bullets or numbering.

Explain the theoretical and practical implications arising from the research findings.

Clearly identify relevant limitations related to the research method, data, sampling, measurement, or research context.

Provide recommendations derived from the findings and limitations, particularly for future research and relevant business or management practice.

JIMB uses the American Psychological Association (APA) Style, 7th Edition for citations and references. Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

• Authors are encouraged to prioritize recent scholarly literature, particularly recent journal articles.
• Every source cited in the manuscript must appear in the reference list.
• Every source appearing in the reference list must be cited in the manuscript.
• References should be arranged alphabetically using a hanging-indent format.

Authors must ensure that manuscripts comply with standards of academic integrity and publication ethics.

• The manuscript must be original.
• Plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification are prohibited.
• Duplicate or simultaneous submission is prohibited.
• All sources must be properly cited and acknowledged.
• Authors must disclose relevant conflicts of interest.
• Substantial use of AI tools must comply with the journal's AI Tools Usage Policy.

Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening will proceed to the peer-review process. JIMB applies a double-blind peer-review system, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other. Editorial decisions are made after considering reviewer reports, manuscript quality, revisions, and compliance with journal policies.

Authors are required to respond carefully to comments and recommendations from editors and reviewers. Revised manuscripts should be submitted within the deadline specified by the Editorial Team. Authors should provide a clear response explaining how each reviewer comment has been addressed.
